Be Grateful

Being grateful means being thankful and appreciative, counting your blessings and acknowledging everything that you receive in life. Thanking makes you happier and more resilient, it will strengthen your relationships, will improve health, and it reduce stress.

There are very small things in life that we have and we are grateful Instead we take these things for granted. I will write a very small list of things that ever you the reader will agree that we should be grateful for.

A roof over my head.

Plenty of drinkable water

Good Food.

Family and friends.

Do you agree with what i have said above? Do you wish to add something that I may have missed or overlooked?

Waving Negativity Good Bye

Being thankful or attitude to gratitude have power to reduce negativity.  It is hard to be negative about your situation when you are thinking about things for which you are grateful. It will instantly change your mood and approach towards the situation.


See Change In People Around You

Everyone likes to hear that they are appreciated, but sometimes we can forget to say thank you, especially to people who we can take for granted. Take the time to say thank you, and show your gratitude. Your relationships with people will improve significantly.


Once you become intend toward looking for things to be grateful for, then you begin to appreciate simple pleasures and things that you previously took for granted. You shall start to look for the good even in unpleasant situations.

    It’s good to be reminded to think positively. I especially like your quote: It is not happy people who are thankful; it is thankful people that are happy.

    I live in Northern Newfoundland, so I am always grateful for a fire in the grate and a beautiful view from my window.

    I really like this post. It speaks to me on many levels. Gratitude, I believe is very powerful. As a manager, I make it a point to thank my staff members Frequently so they know that I recognize their contributions. They often ask me why I thank them for doing their jobs, so I tell them: I am thankful that you did your job, yes, but if yiu think back, I asked somethung of you, I did not order it, so I am thankful that we can respect each other enough that I don’t have to bark orders… Sometimes it’s the little things.
    I also like your writing/posting style. When I write on my other blog,, I write in a similar style.
