Being thankful or attitude to gratitude have power to reduce negativity. It is hard to be negative about your situation when you are thinking about things for which you are grateful. It will instantly change your mood and approach towards the situation.

Everyone likes to hear that they are appreciated, but sometimes we can forget to say thank you, especially to people who we can take for granted. Take the time to say thank you, and show your gratitude. Your relationships with people will improve significantly.
Once you become intend toward looking for things to be grateful for, then you begin to appreciate simple pleasures and things that you previously took for granted. You shall start to look for the good even in unpleasant situations.
